About May 24, 2008

My name is Sasha. I am a recent Michigan State University alumna. Having a degree is Social Relations and Policy, I decided the Peace Corps was the next step for me. I had accepted an invitation to serve as a Health and Community Development Worker in Kiribati. Unfortunately, all PC Kiribati programs have been suspended. So now, I’m off to Peru to work with the Community-Based Environmental Management program. This blog will be the best way to keep updated on my life for the next several years. Enjoy.

Hey my name’s Jenny Schwartz, and I was a former Kiribati person as well who has been relocated to Peru for Sept. 2008. I came across your blog and think you might be in the same boat. Hopefully you are as excited as I am and looking forward to a great time!

Hello–I just opened my invitation today and am headed to Peru on September 10! I’m pretty excited and really busy getting ready. My last day on my current job is August 1, I’m packing up my house to rent out and hoping to head to a friend’s house in the mountains of Montana for a couple weeks R&R before September!
